Recent waves of drone attacks have caused significant damage to residential and economic assets in Odessa, raising concerns about long-term regional stability.
On the night of April 27, Russian forces launched a concentrated drone attack on the Ukrainian port city of Odessa, targeting civilian buildings and critical infrastructure. Approximately 50 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were deployed, resulting in damage to residential homes, a hotel, warehouses, and several vehicles. Local authorities reported at least 13 people injured as a consequence.

Previous attacks on April 26 saw Ukraine’s Air Force shoot down 124 of 144 drones, illustrating the scale and persistence of the threat.
